Babies and infants need things to look at, to touch and taste, throw, and to roll. Different colors, different textures, sweet sounds and different behaviors will all provide immense enjoyment and stimulation to an infant and in the process, they will learn along with so much fun. Parenting is just about understanding these little but very important things. If parents are attentive and take note of these things, then they will have complete control over their child’s development in initial stages.

Toddlers in the range of 1 to 2 years are getting to grips with language and associations with the physical world. The baby walker is a well known traditional toy which toddlers love, and this helps them to take their first wobbly steps. Child development is critical and the priorities of children change very quickly with time. With proactive parenting you can just fulfill the changing priorities of your child.

As these toddlers grow, they start copying and emulating adults and other children around them. They will enjoy dressing up, play roles of other people and also imaginative fantasy games that will see them adopt characters of fireman, postman, nurse, doctor, etc.

During the course of child development, there will be many times when parents might get anxious seeing no apparent change in the growth of their child. But parents need no to calm and not show any sign of worries as children do what they see and this in turn can lead to upsetting the child.
