I remember when I was younger, the time my parents decided to put vinyl replacement windows in our house. My mom had been telling my dad that we needed new windows for years. I am not sure why he finally decided to have it done but I will never forget how happy it made my mom.

She called some home remodeling contractors for bids. She explained to my brother and me how the contractors would come to our house and look at our old windows and measures them and then writes down on a piece of paper how much it would cost to put vinyl replacement windows in. The first of the two home remodeling contractors came on Tuesday and then the second one came on Wednesday.

I like the guys who came on Tuesday because they were very nice to my mom and called her mam. My parents ended up hiring the home remodeling contractors that I liked to install our replacement windows. It only took them two days and we had all new windows in our house. My mom was so proud of those windows that I remember she invited all of our friends and family to a cookout so she could show them off.
