I packed up all my adult t shirts last week and took them to the thrift store. After the attendant looked in the box, she informed me that she could not accept my donation. They were a religious thrift store and they would not be able to put my adult t shirts out for purchase. I was shocked that anyone would turn down a donation, but I figured that it made sense.

I was able to locate a group at the nearby community college that helps out kids who need help with everyday things like clothes and necessities. I figured that since I thought my funny t shirts were funny back in college, so would some other college students. I called to have them pick them up at my apartment. I explained what some of my funny t shirts said before they wasted a trip over but they told me that they would be happy to accept them.

I was happy to have given my adult t shirts to kids who needed them and who would also appreciate them. I have two other buddies that are getting up there in years, and I am sure that they do not wear the adult t shirts they had in college; I am going to tell them where they can donate them to.
