The structured settlement team is the ones who helped me to sell structured settlement payments to a company and get most of the money that I had been awarded now. I knew that there would be a way around having to wait four years for the money. I did not have a job at the moment, because of my injuries sustained from the accident so I needed money as soon as possible.

I had been told going into the courtroom that it would be possible to sell structured settlement payments, if that was the way the decision turned out. I had all the confidence in the world to go through with the proceedings after hearing that. It was my brother that told me that if they awarded me a structured settlement, that I would have to wait forever to get my money. That had put me in a bad mood for the entire weekend and then it was my lawyers assistant that explained that we could sell it shortly after receiving it, if that was what I wanted to do. I understood that I would not get as much money, as I would have if I waited but I was okay with that.
