The only way that I can justify paying the high costs of the dell repair company is if they guarantee their work. I have seen too many different repair shops fix something and then get conveniently called back the following week for the same thing. They have no problem charging for the extra service but they should actually owe you for that fact that they have to fix it twice.

I had this happen too many times with our company’s poweredge servers. I think that we must have called the dell repair company at least five different times in two weeks, for the same problem. Each time that he would come, he would say, I think I got it this time and then charge us an outrageous amount of money again.

I solved the problem of being overcharged for repairs by buying some new servers that came with a ten year warranty. Anytime that I have had problems with them, I just call the store and they send someone out to fix it. I made sure that the deductible fee was very low and I do not have a problem with paying for that every time. I would recommend to anyone who has a lot of computer equipment to make sure that everything you buy has a warranty with it.

I wanted to be the first one to tell our boss that we could actually afford a new system for the cashiers. He had been looking only at the prices of new systems and all the things that go along with them. I think that he is a bit overwhelmed with knowing that he needs to upgrade but does not have the money.

I found a used point of sale equipment company that offers the new systems that have been refurbished at a much lower price. I need to get a list of everything that my boss thinks that we would need and then add everything up so he has a ballpark figure of what it would take to put the new system in. I contacted the used pos equipment company to see if they would fax me a copy of their price list and I could put the needs list together with it.

My boss was very happy that I had found the online used point of sale equipment company and now he has been in a much better mood thinking that with my help, he may be able to order some used pos equipment and get it all installed in place of the old system we have had in the store for twenty years.

The computer team that was hired to organize our office and make it run more efficiently is suggesting things that are just crazy. They want us to put in some new bigger servers to help the overload of work the current servers take on every day. I know that the servers we have now, are old but they seem just fine to me. I knew that there was not enough money in the business to purchase new servers and so did everyone else.

When the computer team left, we had an office meeting. The list of things that they suggested was read off and we all discussed it. We took a vote with the whole staff and it was unanimous, we bought ourselves some new to us used servers. The used poweredge servers were delivered just a few days later and we could all see how much better the system was running with the new used servers.

My brother in law has a business where he cleans out old office buildings and is able to keep anything he wants since it all goes into the trash anyways. I have helped him a few times and he has found some used hp servers that he is able to sell for any amount from five hundred to two thousand dollars depending on the age and shape of the servers.

The most money that he has made on something like that was on four used proliant servers that were still in the boxes on the shelf. It is hard to understand why no one would have taken them out of the building when they were foreclosed upon but the bank only want their money out of the sale of the empty building and my brother in law provides them with that and makes some seriously good money while doing it.

I was so happy to find a new affordable cleaning products company online. I need to start cutting back somewhere and if I can get the same amount of cleaning supplies for a smaller amount of money then I am going to do it. I believe that this new company’s prices even beat the prices of the wholesale club that I have used occasionally.

I placed my first order with the cleaning products company and only waited for two days before the order was delivered. I figured that besides the amount of time that I saved on just sitting down at the computer and pushing a few buttons versus driving to the store, walking around finding it, and hauling it in to put it away, had to be about two hours.

I then got out my previous bills and compared them to the invoice for the cleaning supplies that just came in. The savings was over a hundred dollars, so if I do this every month, I will save twelve hundred dollars a year and tons of hours of time. I wish that I would have found this company before, so that I could have started saving time and money earlier.

The last few office supply orders that I have placed and had delivered from the discount office furniture store have been wrong. It seems like they can get the furniture order correct but not the office supply order. If the office supply order is right, then they have forgotten a piece of furniture or given us the wrong one.

I have called and talked to the manager both times that this has happened and he has promised that it will not happen again. So, they gave me their word and it happened again and now I am thinking that they have just tied my hands. I really like them and their prices but there is no way that I can continue to do business with any kind of company that is so unprofessional. I will call in and discuss the matter with the manager and if he tries and makes me promises that he obviously cannot keep, then I am done with them. If he is smart enough to start checking the orders himself and I have no more trouble with the office supplies and the discount office furniture then I will stay with them. One more slip up and they are done, I will stress that to him and make sure that he understands.

After taking a long hard look at my life and how I wanted everything to be perfect I knew that I needed to purchase no medical exam life insurance for my family. I wanted them to be protected in case something was to happen. I do not like leaving things to chance.
